Eating together is bonding together. At a corner of Boon Keng in Singapore, there is a casual restaurant which serves teochew porridge dishes in the morning and mookata (thai style hotpot) at night. The new Mookata service at night is named Black Pig, and the most important thing to the owners is the selection of fresh and delicious ingredients that they can find. The ingredients they offer naturally became the inspiration for the characters. In a slightly morbid humour, instead of simply happy cheerful characters, they are often seen as running away from the situation, trying to escape from being eaten.
